Digital Image Business Solutions (DIBS) Announces Have-a-Heart Grand Opening EventSARASOTA - Digital Image Business Solutions (DIBS) invites you to a grand opening with a noble purpose - benefiting The Food Bank of Manatee and providing a networking opportunity to boot. DIBS’ first annual "Have-a-Heart" event will occur on February 13 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The sponsor is urging attendees to bring non-perishable food items or a financial contribution for the hungry, and promises that all proceeds will go to that organization's efforts to help children and families in need. "And", comments DIBS business manager Gregg Anderson, "The grand opening will be a wonderful networking opportunity to meet local business and institutional contacts. Join us in giving up your lunch to help feed the needy in our community". The Food Bank of Manatee is the largest hunger relief program in the area, and serves all of Manatee County. It is a partner organization of Feeding America (formerly America’s Second Harvest). The Food Bank has experienced an increase in demand of more than 170% in recent months, and is in serious need of donations to help all those requesting food assistance. More than 95 non-profit partner agencies receive food from the organization for their clients or their programs, some of which include food pantries, soup kitchens, and child care programs.
