Giving back to the community is a core value of Digital Image Business Solutions (DIBS). The FOCUS FUND has been established to assist nonprofit organizations in their efforts to assist and provide a positive impact people’s lives.
DIBS hopes that the Focus Fund of $10,000 that we have established will help our nonprofit organizations and associations achieve their goals and objective to support and assist all members of the community. We challenge each of you to utilize our corporate identity and image development services to build and strengthen your organization and our community.
Purpose
The Focus Fund awards corporate identity and image development services to select nonprofit organizations to help enhance their brand recognition while supporting their distribution of products and services within the community.
Application Guidelines
Who is Eligible?
Any nonprofit group, association or charity in Sarasota and Manatee counties that meet the Focus Fund selection criteria.
What is the Value of the Service Awards?
Services are awarded with a maximum value of $2,500 per organization for an award calendar year. Applicants may receive services in a value of the amount requested or in a lower amount as determined by the review panel. Products and services include: graphic design, printing, copy writing, advertising, public relations, web site development, promotional products, direct mail services and/or discounts against these products and services. Applicants are encouraged to reapply each year. Annual awards are currently $10,000. All awards must be used between March 1, 2009 and February 28, 2010. Awards may only be used for projects originating during these dates and will NOT offset any existing balances due DIBS.

Use the Focus Fund application that is part of the brochure. Return the completed application to:

Cover letters are not required. If more space is needed for a description, please attach an additional sheet. All applications must be received by by the quarterly application date for consideration of awards by the quarterly award date. Applicants receiving an award will be notified by the quarterly award date.

What are the Selection Guidelines?
Applications are reviewed by a panel of representatives from DIBS along with representatives from the community. The panel responds in writing to all applications that are submitted in accordance with the application deadline. Organizations should not assume an award has been given until such notification. Any eligible organization, association or charity can apply and need not be a customer of DIBS. Award recipients are selected based upon how the corporate identity and image development services will be used to further the organizations goals, including:
Service Expansion – Use of corporate identity products and services to contribute to expanding an organization’s awareness or existing service projects.
Program Enhancements – Use of corporate identity products and services to promote new programs and projects.
Leveraged Efforts – Use of corporate identity products and services to increase the impact of other existing resources.
